The new logic in food logistics
In the privacy of the IFFI network managers and professionals will learn about the latest developments within the field of logistics. Three modules cover the theory behind new logistical practices, the development of multi- and synchromodal transport systems and the application of logistics in different B2B food environments. They are facilitated by leading experts coming from the University of Twente and the international food ingredients world, providing scientific proof as well as the context of best practices and models.
Topics stem from the need for hands-on and ready-to-use logistical systems and collaboration methods. Professionals in supply chain management, logistics and related divisions will share insights and experiences. Attendants will have a better understanding how to apply logistics in food chains!
Cross Chain Control Centers: theory meets practice!
How to organize and control the logistics across different chains within B2B food? How to overcome the limitations of supply chain finance by using single window platforms across different chains?
Gerco Linthorst General Manager CTT
Multi- and Synchromodal Transport systems
How to use rail, road and water to transport products simultaneously and – if possible – independently? A visit to the Combi Terminal Twente and a lecture on synchromodal transport provide participants with an understanding of current and future transport systems.

What are the new practices and best cases of logistics within B2B Food? Logistical managers of Darling Ingredients International, Loders Croklaan and FrieslandCampina provide us with insights in the logistics of the supply chains for animal products, vegetable fats and dairy ingredients.
