In this masterclass we touch on the latest developments and technologies adding value to the operations of food ingredients producers. How to apply block chain and manage CO2 neutral manufacturing in the agrofood industry? Why is long term productivity difficult after a short term change? And what does it mean to work in and manage a full transparent food factory?

For many people it is a silent dream: operate a shovel, an earth-moving machine or a mobile crane. At the Construction & Infrastructure Park, IFFI members take on the role of operators working with Big Stuff every day! Under the guidance of a professional, experienced operator, we are going to dig deep!


The Construction & Infrastructure Park in Harderwijk is the business campus and the convention center for the construction industry, real estate sector and all related branches. The extensive terrain is located directly on the A28. In the conference center, business meetings and events take place in the modern meeting rooms, both organized by companies in the sector but also by many outside of it. Restaurant and hotel facilities are on site.

Yakult Europe produces a tasty fermented dairy drink with at least 6.5 billion Lactobacillus casei Shirota bacteria per bottle. These bacteria reach the intestines alive.
During the factory tour you will learn all about the fascinating history of Yakult and are given an extensive tour of the various parts of the production process. For example, how the bottles are filled and capsized at breakneck speed.

Registration and accommodation

The IFFI Masterclass programme includes dinner and drinks and excludes eventual accommodation costs. Single rooms cost €  77,00 incl. breakfast, excl. tax. Participation costs for non-members are € 950,– excluding VAT. Participation costs for IFFI colleagues are covered by the membership fee.
