Topics & guest speakers

Module 1: Blockchain in the AgroFood supply chain

Jan Bolhuis – Blockchain Strategist at Capgemini

The supply chain of food products can be made fully transparent in a way that nobody has seen before. Blockchain is a revolutionary new technology to be installed in AgroFood supply chains securing consumers trust in an incredible way.

Module 1: CO2 neutral manufacturing

Johan Dijkstra – Dept. Manager Process & Sugar Technology at Cosun
Cosun’s ambitions on sustainability drive innovation in the sugar supply chain to create a CO2 neutral manufacturing. How can we as food ingredients producers make this happen and learn from the efforts and experiences of Cosun?

Module 2: Change, from tools to productivity

Marcel Boon – General Manager at DV Nutrition
Steven Gerrits – Consultant at Partitude
Driven by every changing market environments our organizations have to change accordingly. Change is the only constant factor, but how does this lead to the required results? Many of our organizations are subject to change, often forced by the use of new toolings. But what comes first, the tool or the behavior? And when it comes down to behavior, how to learn performing first, before you can deliver results?

Module 2: Human operators in smart factories

Erik Mulder – Consultant at Ergos
Representative FrieslandCampina (invitation pending)
Our factories get smarter, meaning that its control systems deal with more data in a more autonomous way. What can we do to keep our operators in control; and what control is actually needed when automation goes more autonomous? Learn about transparency, control by exception and HMI (Human Machine Interaction) styles to support operators in dealing with intelligent systems.

Module 3: Transparent Factories

Ronald Jacobs, Factory Manager Yakult Europe BV
Yakults company philosophy is ‘Working on a healthy society’ and Yakult wishes to share this philosophy with all stakeholders and consumers. A transparent manufacturing process is critical in bringing this message across and for that reason Yakult welcomes IFFI to visit Europe’s manufacturing plant of fermented dairy drinks.

Team activity

BIG STUFF, you’re in control!

For many people it is a silent dream: operate a shovel, an earth-moving machine or a mobile crane. At the Construction & Infrastructure Park, IFFI members take on the role of operators working with Big Stuff every day! Under the guidance of a professional, experienced operator, we are going to dig deep!

Locations

The Construction & Infrastructure Park in Harderwijk is the business campus and the convention center for the construction industry, real estate sector and all related branches. The extensive terrain is located directly on the A28. In the conference center, business meetings and events take place in the modern meeting rooms, both organized by companies in the sector but also by many outside of it. Restaurant and hotel facilities are on site.
