Executive Council meeting 6 February 2019

Our first Executive Council meeting in 2019 is scheduled for 6 February. We look forward to welcome all executive members in Slot Zeist.

Digital Transformation in Food

Special guest for this evening is Jim Stolze, tech entrepreneur and innovation expert. Jim will present the latest developments in digitalisation like f.e. the impact of artificial intelligence on our businesses.

Guest speaker Jim Stolze

Jim is the founder of Aigency, a platform that links Dutch startups in the field of artificial intelligence to multinationals. Jim can inspire his audience like no other with his vision on the future of digitization and its impact on business models and organizations. In 2016, together with Constantijn van Oranje, Jim organized the event “Startup Fest Europe” with big names like Tim Cook (Apple), Eric Schmidt (Alphabet) and Travis Kalanick (Uber).

A full circle

In 2011 we invited our executive members to Slot Zeist with the following introduction:
Following the individual meetings between Loek Favre and the senior management members of the IFFI network in January and February of this year, this executive council meeting is organized to discuss the full potential of IFFI in her second phase of development. A new set of focal areas and subsequent actions has to be agreed upon.
Loek Favre had just become chairman of the IFFI board. At the upcoming EC meeting Loek will hand down his duties to a new chairman, again at Slot Zeist. Furthermore Joep van Wessem will leave the IFFI board so we will take the opportunity to thank both Loek and Joep for their valuable contribution to the network.

Slot Zeist
Slot Zeist was once the paradise estate of Willem Adriaan, Count of Nassau-Odijk and grandson of Prince Maurits. The castle breathes history, is surrounded by beautiful English gardens and is centrally located. The right wing consists of the beautiful garden room with tromp l’oeil paintings and the baroque Blue room with its unique and atmospheric appearance thanks to the royal blue damask wall decoration by designer Daniel Marot and golden finishes on the wooden ceiling.
