The Ingredients for Food Innovators network proudly congratulates its members DSM and IOI Loders Croklaan; both companies won an award during the Fi Europe 2017 for their ability to demonstrate and stimulate innovation, and for their contribution to the industry.
DSM won the prestigious Reduction & Reformulation Innovation Award for Delvo®Cheese CT-Light cultures which allow cheesemakers to create healthier continental cheeses using low-fat milk with the same taste and texture that consumers expect from a full-fat product. The Sustainability Champion Award went to IOI Loders Croklaan for their strategic 3-step approach delivering a traceable, transparent and sustainable palm oil supply chain. First, IOI Loders Croklaan understand the origins of their oil, then they assess for risk, and then they use their market leverage to drive sustainable practices on the ground. By implementing this strategy IOI Loders Croklaan has achieved 100% traceability to mill level and is now working to achieve full traceability to plantation.
