Executive Council members will be gathering around the Chef’s table in Restaurant Bentinck at Buitenplaats Amerongen. In anticipation of the IFFI Ingredients event 2017, ‘ingredients exposed’ is taken very literally this time.
Sitting at the chef’s table IFFI Executive Council members will overlook the kitchen of Restaurant Bentinck where top dishes are prepared with fresh vegetables from the castle’s gardens.

On the edge of the village of Amerongen lies the extensive estate ‘Buitenplaats Amerongen’ where you will find six monumental buildings, all perfectly kept with a unique contemporary design respecting their history. The Castle Amerongen dates from 1680 and was inhabited by families of diplomats and members of the military who played a prominent role in national and international politics. The Castle is now a small museum that showcases various exhibitions.
